IFA培訓與實踐標準
IFA文憑課程被國際認可並完全符合國家職業標準和開放大學網絡標準。我們的培訓不僅符合且超過國家資格體系（NQF），在質量和標準方面相當於4級或5級，符合國家職業標準（NOS）。芳香療法4級和臨床芳香療法5級的模塊分別為15學分。
IFA芳療師的培訓標準
培訓標準的設置和達成是通過我們所批准的學校和教師來實現的。 IFA授權的培訓機構必須嚴格遵循我們的教學大綱，該大綱是基於多年專業治療師的培訓經驗精心擬定而成。課程標準涵蓋面廣，包括整體健康，客服步驟，全身按摩，精油和媒介油理論，病理學，解剖學和生理學，急救和商業拓展等內容。大綱制定了教學方法和學習培訓課時，以便培養出自信，有愛心，有能力和熱衷於自己所選職業的芳療師。
培訓標準是通過我們的考試體係來實施的。英國和海外地區的註冊學校如果願意可以自行舉辦內部考試，但作為IFA註冊學校的必要條件是他們需要舉辦由IFA派出的獨立考官監考的外部考試。
學生考核內容包括：解剖學和生理學的理論和實踐，全身按摩，芳療理論和芳療按摩等，考試後由IFA考官評估和打分，以便獲取專業芳療師的資格。申請註冊的 學校只有在其師資，設備和場地均滿足IFA標准後方可接受註冊。這些原則保持了芳療作為一門職業的專業性，也維護了芳療從業者及其客戶的利益。
IFA從業標準
IFA註冊芳療師不僅僅是使用精油按摩的人員，他們是一群特殊的治療師，其信心和經驗來自全面的培訓。他們掌握
有效使用治療性芳香油的知識，並將其與各種施用手法相結合，從而確保客戶獲得最大療效。 IFA機構要求其正式成員每年完成至少12小時的持續專業發展（CPD）學時，以保持自身的從業標準，增加芳療經驗。
