Renew your IFA Membership for 2013

There has never been a better time to renew your membership with the IFA. In 2012 the IFA has gone from strength to strength with its new bilingual website in English, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional and Japanese with new facilities for our members.

In our members area, members can now edit their own details. Add or edit their address, contact details, add a picture of themselves or company logo, write a description about themselves, their practice, the services they offer etc. Therapists can now select which additional therapies they cover to appeal to a broader spectrum of people. We appreciate at times being a therapist can be a lonely business so we have included a members forum so that members can interact with each other better.

We have increased the amount of downloads available to members giving corporate, pr and business support - all free to download and tailor to your own practice. We update job opportunities in the field frequently to help secure you a job in the profession and keep you up to date with all changing legislation. We have negotiated discounts from 15 various companies supplying coach roles, essential oils, carrier oils and equipment to ensure you get the cheapest possible prices for all your essentials. The IFA have also gained free tickets to holistic exhibitions across various regions for continual professional development and so you can also keep up to date with the latest trends.

The Aromatherapy Times Magazine has a new editor and has expanded not only its pages but also its contents so that there is something for everyone. It has 7 sections Essential Oils, Good Health, Well Being, Business Support, Spiritual, Members Corner and Education. The IFA are now writing in other holistic magazines to bring more awareness to the organisation and its therapists.

Due to popular demand the IFA has this year joined several social networks to increase contact with its members and friends. The IFA is now on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter which we hope you will contact us on and let us know what you are up to. This years Aromatherapy Awareness week was as successful as ever. To help increase the profile of all our members we have introduced a new facility where members can advertise their workshops/cpd courses on our website for free.

What has 2013 got in store?

In 2013 the IFA is having its first conference in Taiwan with an exceptional line up of speakers. This will be followed by our Teacher Training courses in Japan and Taiwan. Cant travel that far? Not to worry the IFA will be having a teacher training course in the UK again in 2013. If that wasn’t enough the IFA will be launching its new essential oil course in 2013 more details will be given closer to the time so please keep checking our news and events feed.
